Ticks & The Dood

Lily - 7 months ~ Maverick - 5 months
In true McDevitt fashion, we've managed to give our dogs nicknames for their nicknames. "Tickles" has been shortened to "Ticks" and we also like to call her "Ticks McGee" for some reason.... Maverick has become "Maverdoodle" or simply, "The Dood."
Oh yeah, speaking of silly names, we finally got Maverick's papers. His official AKC name is VANWRINKLE STICKS TO MAGNET. Van Wrinkle is the name of the Mav's kennel. The rest is something about a lobster.
Don't worry, The Dood will find the remote. Do you think he's regretting eating that couch cushion right about now?
Nearly 100 pounds combined, and they still manage to fit on their doggie bed together (although they definitely prefer a people bed).
The Dood had mixed feelings about his first experience with snow, but I think he's going to enjoy it.
Ticks isn't fazed by the snow. She's still Queen of The Land of Forgotten Toys (also known as the compost pile behind the shed).
To out-hoss these dogs, you have to be as cunning as Lily Ticks McGee. They won't eat green beans out of their food bowls, but if they come from my plate, they must be good! I'm not sure they're a new favorite, though. Look at the faces these guys are making....
